Restore without compromising its essence. The authenticity of Le Domaine d’Egenia combines natural stone, which keeps interiors cool in summer, with vaulted ceilings that still echo past history. Softness, luxury, and modernity are seamlessly integrated. Murano chandeliers, acquired at an auction from the Hôtel Métropole in Brussels, capture the evening light in the reception hall. Panoramic Anambo wallpapers create visual escapes. The furniture blends antique finds with contemporary lines.
Today, the estate evolves, season after season. The rose garden now boasts over 200 varieties, their fragrance carrying to the accommodations. New spaces emerge as needed: a shaded corner becomes a terrace, a plot transforms into an aromatic herb garden. The estate breathes, transforms, and adapts to those who inhabit it.
The rest of the story will be written with you.
The rose garden is the beating heart of the estate, the space Eugenia shaped with the most passion. Over 200 varieties of ancient roses thrive here; from opulent English roses to delicate Damask roses, from generous Bourbon roses to historic Gallic roses — the collection is a true living conservatory.
The olive trees of Le Domaine d’Egenia are living monuments, silent witnesses to the region’s agricultural history. During the estate’s renovation, new plantings were added to complement the historic trees, creating continuity between past and present.
From June to July, the lavender fields of Le Domaine d’Egenia adorn themselves in their most intense blue. Lavender also plays an essential ecological role: it attracts pollinators, enriches the estate’s biodiversity, and naturally perfumes the entire park.
The Village Square embodies the gentle Provençal way of life. Around its stone Provençal fountain, beneath the majestic shade of a giant plane tree, this space invites encounters and exchanges.
The Grand Awning is a generous, airy, and bright space located at the center of the farmhouse — a place that opens onto the rose garden, lavender fields, and surrounding vineyards. With its multiple shaded lounges, elegant bar, and majestic fireplace, it is the quintessential gathering place.
The pool at Le Domaine d’Egenia is more than just a basin — it is an oasis of coolness nestled in the heart of the gardens. Surrounded by lush vegetation, it offers an ideal refuge for warm Provençal days.
Scattered across the six hectares of the estate, numerous small outdoor lounges offer spaces of preserved intimacy. Comfortable furniture arranged under a hundred-year-old olive tree, a soft bench nestled in a secret garden corner, a hammock suspended between two trees — each space has been designed to offer a personal refuge.
Le Domaine d’Egenia benefits from an exceptional geographical location in the heart of the golden triangle of Luberon, formed by Gordes, Bonnieux, and Roussillon.
Just a few kilometers away, you will discover hilltop villages classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France: Gordes with its castle and its Sénanque Abbey, Bonnieux and its 360° panorama, Ménerbes where Peter Mayle lived, Lacoste dominated by the Château du Marquis de Sade.
